Easy San Choy Bao

Cook time 15 minutes
Servings 4 as an entree


250g turkey mince

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 onion, finely diced

2 cloves of garlic, minced

¼ cup water chestnuts, finely diced

1 carrot, grated

3 tbsp San Choy Bao sauce

½ an iceberg lettuce, trimmed into 4 cups

Coriander, to serve

Easy San Choy Bao


Place oil in a hot frypan and saute the onions until lightly browned.

Add the turkey and garlic, and stir for a few minutes.

Add the water chestnuts, carrot and sauce to the pan, and stir until cooked through and slightly caramelised.

Place a few spoonfuls of mixture into the middle of the lettuce cups, garnish with coriander and serve.
