Rice with Spiced Butter

Servings 2 as a side

Ingredients

50g organic salted butter

1 clove garlic, finely sliced

1 tsp mustard seeds

10-15 curry leaves

½ tsp chilli powder

Pinch salt

2 cups cooked basmati rice

Method

Melt the butter in a pan on medium heat. Add the garlic, mustard seeds, curry leaves, chilli and a pinch of salt.

Pour over the plain rice, stir to coat it all and serve.
