Pork Chops with Caramel Soy Sauce

Ingredients

2 pork chops

40ml light soy sauce

2 tbsp black vinegar

2 tbsp caster sugar

1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Rice, to serve

Spring onions, to garnish

Method

Heat the pan on high heat with the oil.

Season the pork chop and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan.

Turn the heat to medium, add the sugar and dissolve until it’s a golden caramel colour.

Deglaze with soy and vinegar.

Slice the pork, serve on rice with a drizzle of sauce and garnish with spring onions.
