Peanut Butter Balls
Cook Time 20 minutes plus setting time
Makes 15–20
Ingredients
1½ cups Coco Pops (or any chocolate puffed rice cereal)
2 Snickers, roughly chopped (or any chocolate-caramel-nougat bars)
1 cup icing sugar
½ cup crunchy peanut butter
50g unsalted butter
500g milk or dark chocolate (milk is preferred)
Method
In a bowl, combine the Coco Pops, Snickers and icing sugar.
Melt the peanut butter and butter, then add to the Coco Pops mixture and combine well.
Once combined, roll into tablespoon-sized balls and place on a lined baking tray or plate.
Pop them in the fridge to cool. This helps them stick together.
Whilst the balls are in the fridge, set up a double boiler and melt the chocolate slowly. Melt gently to avoid the chocolate seizing.
Get the balls out of the fridge and start dipping them into the chocolate.
Pop the balls back onto the tray or plate and into the fridge again to set.
Once set, they’re ready to serve.
