Creamed Kale

Ingredients

4-6 kale leaves, stem removed and finely chopped

1 clove of garlic, roughly chopped

Pinch chilli flakes 

300ml cooking cream 

1 small handful of parmesan (optional) 

Salt and pepper 

½ lemon juice 

Small knob butter

Method

Add cooking cream to a sauté pan over a medium heat and bring to the boil. Add the garlic, kale, chilli and a small pinch of salt. Fold through the cream. Sautè with the lid on for 15-20 minutes, or until wilted, stirring regularly.

Remove from the heat and stir through the butter and parmesan. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and serve.
