Chocolate Dukkah

Ingredients

35g hazelnuts

40g almonds

40g sesame seeds

½ tsp coriander seeds

½ tsp cumin seeds 

50g 70% dark chocolate 

35g milk chocolate

Method

Roast the hazelnuts and almonds in a moderate oven until golden brown. Place in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped.

In a dry frying pan roast the sesame seeds until golden brown. Mix sesame with the roasted nuts in a mixing bowl.

Toast spices in the same pan for 1 - 2 minutes or until aromatic and seeds begin to pop. Pound in a mortar and pestle until finely crushed, mix in with nut sesame mixture. Finely chop the chocolate and mix into cool mixture. Add a touch of salt.

Enjoy with some Brioche, Turkish - or Sourdough bread and some hazelnut oil. Simply dip the bread in the oil and then the spiced chocolate nut mixture.
