Servings makes 12

Ingredients

150g unsalted butter, softened

100g icing sugar

200g plain flour

80ml milk

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Pinch salt

200g milk or dark chocolate, melted for dipping

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a tray with baking paper.

Using a wooden spoon, whip the butter and icing sugar until fluffy. Mix in the vanilla and salt. Add the sifted flour and fold through until incorporated. Add the milk and stir until combined.

Transfer the mixture to a piping bag. Pipe rounds onto your prepared baking tray. Alternatively, scoop tablespoon sized balls and place onto the tray, then press down slightly to form a round biscuit.

Bake for 15-25 minutes or until lightly golden in colour. Allow to cool on the tray.

Dip half of the biscuit into the melted chocolate. Place back onto the tray until the chocolate has set.
