'Fruit Nerd' Thanh Truong is a Produce Expert who grew up in his parents' fruit and vegetable store.

He began his career as a national fruit buyer for a large supermarket chain before joining the family business as Australia's leading distributor of fruit and veg from Asia. He has travelled the world sourcing exotic fruits and vegetables for Australian consumers.

Just as comfortable on camera, on stage or talking to locals, Thanh is the 'Fruit Nerd' because of his wealth of knowledge and desire to educate.

Thanh's passion as an authority and expert on fruit and veg extends to his energy (and a plethora of fruit shirts!), and he wants everyone to believe, as he does, ' good food starts with good produce.'
