Ingredients

1pkt San Remo Spaghetti, 500g
1 cup bread crumbs
50g butter, room temperature
300g buffalo mozzarella
150g san Daniele prosciutto, sliced finely
100g pecorino, grated

Adam joins Justine in the kitchen to cook an oven-baked pasta dish that's simple to put together.

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Take a baking dish and half of the butter. Grease the base of the dish with the butter and sprinkle ¼ cup of the breadcrumbs over the base and a little pecorino too.

Cook the pasta as per packet directions. Once cooked, strain pasta and toss through remaining butter.

Place half of the pasta into the baking dish and then tear pieces of mozzarella and scatter over the pasta. Then top with small pieces of prosciutto.

Add remaining pasta to the dish. Beat eggs and cream together. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour egg mix over the top. Sprinkle remaining cheese and breadcrumbs over pasta.

Bake in oven for 15 to 20 mins or until golden brown.
