Fillo Chocolate Croissants

Ingredients

4 sheets of Fillo
150g butter, melted
¾ cup hazelnut meal
½ cup icing sugar
8 tsp. hazelnut and chocolate spread like Nutella

Method

Pre heat the oven to 180C.

Butter each layer of Fillo pastry, then sprinkle with hazelnut meal and icing sugar and stack on top of each other. Cut the stack into a perfect square and then slice the sheet diagonally to make 8 triangles.

With the wide end of the Fillo triangle facing you, place a dollop of the chocolate spread in the centre of the triangle. Carefully roll to form a spiral. Then twist it to form a crescent. Butter again to glaze.

Arrange on a tray and bake for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with a little more icing sugar to serve.
