Vanilla Bean Sugar Syrup

Cook Time 5 minutes + chilling time

Servings 2

Ingredients

1 cup caster sugar

1 cup water

1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Method

Bring all the ingredients in a pot to a boil, turn down to medium heat.

Continue cooking for 2-4 minutes until the sugar dissolves and forms a syrup.

Chill and store in a sterilized jar.

Note: this will last in the fridge for 2 months.
