Strawberry Granita

Ingredients
750g fresh strawberries
70g caster sugar
70ml lemon juice
6 tsp. of strawberry liquor (or chamber, kirsch, grappa)
Method
Blitz the strawberries, caster sugar and lemon juice in a food processor or blender until a smooth coulis forms. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve.
Pour into a shallow, rectangular tin (slice tin) and freeze for four hours. After two hours remove from the freezer and scratch the surface with a fork to break up.
Refreeze for a further 2 hours before scratching the surface again to form ice crystals that look like snow.
Serve in latte or martini glasses with a little of the liquor drizzle over the top.
