Miso Guacamole Dip

1 tbsp white miso paste

½ small garlic clove, crushed

½ tsp sesame oil

1 tbsp mirin

1 medium limes, zested and juiced

2 ripe avocados, halved

1 small fresh red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped

3 spring onions, very finely chopped

Toasted black and white sesame seeds to garnish

Crackers, to serve

Miso Guacamole Dip


Combine the miso, garlic and lime juice and zest, sesame oil and mirin in a bowl. Season with salt and stir until smooth and combined.

Scoop the avocado flesh and place in the bowl then use a fork to crush. Stir through the spring onion. Place in a serving bowl and serve scattered with sesame seeds and chilli. Serve with crackers.

Note: if you are not eating immediately, cover with cling film so that it touches the surface (this will prevent it from going brown), and chill.
