Mashed Potatoes

1.5kg potatoes

75g butter

½ cup milk

Salt, to taste

Mashed Potatoes


Peel the potatoes and place them into a large pot of cold water and bring to a boil.

Drain and sit in a colander to air dry.

Once dry and cooled slightly, place the cooked potatoes back into the pot, mash, and fold the butter through until there are no lumps.

Heat the milk and then add to the mash a splash at a time. Season with salt.
