Gourmet Christmas Ham

Ingredients
1 whole ham leg ham (boneless, skin removed, 2kg piece)
1-2 tsp cloves
Glaze
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp good quality Dijon mustard
½ cup fresh orange juice (squeeze your own if you can)
½ cup brown sugar
1 clove garlic (skin removed, bashed)
1 tsp salt flakes
A few sprigs of fresh thyme
A good splash of whiskey
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Score the ham with a sharp knife on a diagonal to create a diamond pattern, and stud each diamond with a clove or two.
Bring the rest of your ingredients to the boil in a saucepan, and then allow to cool.
Place the ham on a greased wire rack in a baking dish lined with non-sticking baking paper and with a brush, baste the ham with about two thirds of the glaze.
Bake the ham for approximately 40-45 minutes at 180°C. Continue to baste with the remaining glaze every 15 minutes.
