Bok Choy in Oyster Sauce

Ingredients

4 heads of bok choy, halved

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 cloves garlic, chopped

3 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp cornflour

1 few drops of black sesame oil

Method

Bring a large pot of boiling water to the boil. Add the bok choy and bring the water back to the boil. Drain bok choy.

Mix together 200ml warm water with the oyster sauce, sugar, corn flour and sesame oil. Ensuring cornflour has dissolved into liquid.

Heat oil in a wok and fry garlic until just fragrant without any colour. Add the sauce and whisk until thick and glossy. Add the bok choy and coat in sauce.

Serve as a side.
