Freestyle Fillo Pizza

Ingredients

3 sheets thick fillo
4 tbsp chocolate & hazelnut paste or Nutella or 24 chocolate truffles
1 bananas sliced
100g fresh ricotta
2 tsp sugar
melted butter

To serve:
4 scoops vanilla gelato or ice-cream
4 tbsp chocolate shavings
2 tbsp chopped roasted and peeled hazelnuts
Icing sugar

 

Freestyle Fillo Pizza

Method

Lay out one sheet of fillo on a clean board. Brush with melted butter. Place another sheet and brush again. Fold sheets over and cut in half. Top with a final layer of melted butter.

Transfer to an oven for 7 to 10 minutes at 180C.

Sweeten ricotta with 2 tsp sugar (or to taste) and add a little milk to make it easier to spread. Add a layer to the pizza.

Place on the banana slices.

Return to the oven for approximately 2 minutes under the grill or until crispy (do not burn the chocolate).

Top with chocolate shavings, hazelnuts and icing sugar. Serve with a spoonful of icecream.
